๐ Voice Setup Help
If certain languages like Japanese, Chinese, or Spanish donโt play audio on your device, you may need to install or enable the appropriate system voices.
Note: English usually works by default on most devices. Other languages may require additional setup.
๐ฑ iPad or iPhone
- Go to Settings โ Accessibility โ Spoken Content โ Voices.
- Tap a language (e.g., Japanese, Chinese, Spanish).
- Download a voice if it's not already installed.
- Return to WordVista and try the ๐ button again.
๐ค Android Devices
- Go to Settings โ System โ Language & Input โ Text-to-Speech Output.
- Tap the settings icon for your preferred TTS engine (usually Google Text-to-Speech).
- Look for Install voice data and download the needed languages.
- Return to WordVista and try the ๐ button again.
๐ป Desktop Browsers
- Most modern browsers use your system's built-in voices.
- If audio doesnโt play for a language, you may need to add it in your computerโs system settings.
- For best results, use the latest version of Chrome, Safari, or Edge.
